Process
Here’s what to expect from our process.
1. Initial Consultation
This phone meeting is free and results in a proposal laying out the scope of your project and estimating the time and cost.
2. Proposal
This free document is prepared by us and sent to you via email along with a Welcome Kit.
3. Agreement
If you like the proposal and wish to continue, we move forward and a small retainer fee is required.
4. Foundation
It may sound exciting to get written drafts of your project right away, but that idea can get everyone into trouble. Good writing comes out of a firm understanding of what you need, who you are as a business or individual, and who you want to attract. The tone of the writing should reflect your desired audience and the content should be accurate and clearly represent what these audience members are looking for. Market research, speaking with you and your team, and reading your current materials are all essential parts of any writing project. All of this work will be documented in a planning presentation which you will have online access to.
5. First Draft
If a good foundation has been laid, the writing will have legs to stand on.
6. Review and Discussion
This gives client and writer both a chance to review the plans we’ve made and ensure that the writing meets all of the goals we have set.
7. Second Draft
This will be sent to you via email for your approval.
8. Sign Off
This can either take place on the phone, via email or in person. We discuss your experience as a client and your future goals. We will submit an invoice to you for the remaining amount owing.
